HighFlow Project Battens are designed to support cladding systems up to 20kg/m2 in Wind Regions up to N3, making them the perfect project solution. Harnessing the dimensional strength of LVL, HighFlow Project Battens offer excellent structural performance with a smaller cross section. The 50 x 35 batten will comfortably span studs at 600mm spacing, making batten installation fast and efficient.
HighFlow Project Cavity Battens (Patent Pending) are designed to provide wall cavities with superior ventilation to solid or square members. Exceeding E2/AS1(NZ) standards, and compliant for proposed Condensation Management Requirements of NCC 2025, HighFlow Battens reduce the risk of moisture buildup in the frame, reducing mould and creating healthier indoor environments.
HighFlow Project Battens offer drainage away from the wall frame, and are designed with a bevelled edge to support this. This acts as a further reduction to moisture buildup in the wall cavity.
HighFlow Project Battens are constructed from High Strength Engineered LVL Timber, meaning they are able to support themselves without need for further framing requirements such as nogging. This leads to faster installation on worksites, material savings on projects and ease of installation.
